Auchentoshan Three Wood Review

Price - ~$60-70

ABV 43%

Color - Doughnut (cake)

Nose - Initial sweetness, dried fruit (raisins/figs/dates), nutty, vanilla and a tiny hint of solvent

Palate - Oily, creamy, hint of the alcohol heat at the very beginning but it immediately dissipates into a taste that is similar to the nose and then the heat shows up again very briefly at the end

Finish - Medium, I used an ice cube at the end that really mellowed it out and the finish was thinner and weaker and removed just about all of the alcohol burn that made its presence felt in the beginning

Rating - 87/100 - a decent dram that I would revisit, cheers!
